Pet care experience
I’m someone who simply loves dogs more than anything in the world. I started on rover last summer as something to do on my off days from work, but intend on solely doing Rover services while I'm home for the summer from college as my job! Last summer I got a very well-rounded experience by getting the opportunity to do each of my services numerous times with all different kinds of dogs, combinations of pets, and time periods. I have lots of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, my first dog being a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I now own a rambunctious Brittany who is nothing but trouble, so if that happens to be how you describe your dog as well I am more than ready to take on that challenge!

Savannah is great! Quick to reply to inquiries, super on the meet and greet and perfect on the drop-in-visit. Tucker was happy and tired when she left =).
Savannah was absolutely wonderful! First time ever using Rover or for that matter, any kind of dog service. I have a 12 year old Jack Russel who I call my cat/dog. Doesn’t like to be bothered much and is pretty shy. But she took right to Savannah who had a positive but peaceful spirit. She showed up on time, provided pics and informed me of the number of potties/types of potties my dog took on their walk. So I had great peace of mind while out of town and my dog was still able to enjoy her usual walks with a very kind soul. Thank you Savannah and best of luck to you at Arizona State University!!!

I would describe myself as a confident and trustworthy caretaker when it comes to in-house services. I have plenty past experience with house sitting and know the proper etiquette that is expected when staying in someone's home. I used to be a frequent babysitter so I tend to float back to old habits of ensuring that homeowners always come back to a cleaner house than what was left. I am able to give many hours of my day to care for pets who need extra-special attention and am very accommodating to specific needs.

I think it's important to know what their temperament is like, especially in terms of going on walks and playing and how they may be with other dogs. Also, having an understanding of what routines the dog follows so I can determine how well I can accommodate that.
A typical day
I enjoy going on long walks, engaging with dogs in fun games that they enjoy whether it be playing tug or toss, or even just hanging out with them and keeping company. I'm more than willing to adapt to the dog's preferences and do what makes them happy. And with the owner's comfortability, I love going on long hikes and having hiking buddies come along with me.

Availability
I do intend on doing Rover more "full-time" this summer, so my availability is very open! Dog walking is my absolute favorite and I am a frequent hiker! So if you're ever needing just a day away from your pup and want an exhausted one returned, I'm happy to bring one along on a hike for a different rate than a typical dog walk!
