I became a dog sitter because I think that dogs see the best in us humans and bring light into each day! I absolutely love spending time with pups, so it was a no-brainer to become a pet sitter. I love the fact that I can give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind knowing that their pup is in loving hands while they are away! When taking on new clients, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet first so we can have a chance to make sure that we are a good match for one another. During the meet, I will let the dog approach me with a hand, palm up, so they know I am there to be friendly. I will let the dog smell me and decide how our friendship will be. Once we’ve become friends, I like to use this time to ask some questions about your pup and how I can make their time with me as good as possible. I typically will have lots of questions to ask, but only because I try to be completely dedicated to you and your pup! During the stay, I will always be available via phone, and am also happy to send along plenty of text or video messages. That way, you can see just what we’ve been getting up to during the day and how we’re getting along. I also will always have my phone close in case of emergency or contact from the owner. For my canine clients, I will make their wellness and comfort my number one priority by preparing for our time together. While in my care, my canine clients will have plenty of rest and plenty of exercise and play. I like to stick to the schedule they’re used to at home so they feel completely comfortable and happy during our time together!
