Pet care experience
My first love was dogs, and my first job was at a dog daycare boarding facility. Currently, I hold a full time position as an emergency veterinary technician at a 24/7 animal hospital in Pearl City. I am able to administer meds, monitor health, and immediately get help in case of an emergency. I work 4 days per week with shifts varying 8-10 hours and can provide hikes and adventures or just a couch buddy depending on your dog's lifestyle on my time off. I would prefer homes okay with my own ESA, a 3 year old , female, husky who is submissive, friendly, and trained, and only after a safe introduction. Some people are kid-people. I'm a dog-people. I'd give your dog(s) the same treatment I'd want mine to get in my absence.

I like to know what the dog's usual routine is and stick to that as much as possible. I want the dog to be as comfortable as possible while parents are away. I like to know if there are any dominant behaviors, health restrictions, or history of health problems. I would prefer an in person interview to personally spend time with you and your dog before accepting the job.
A typical day
Walks and hikes depend on the lifestyle and energy levels of the dog. I enjoy mild walks around the neighborhood for older or low energy dogs, but for higher energy dogs I regularly go on waterfall and scenic hikes varying in mileage. All trails I would take them on I would have previous experience on, knowing the level of difficulty, and would take them out during safe temperatures.
