Experienced Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
I stay home most of the time gardening, and studying French. I have been working with dogs in behavioral corrections, and basic training for over ten years. I would love a pup to explore trails with, especially to give my own puppy some dog company! I work very part time, six hour shifts, so I can spend as much time as possible with my (and your) dog. I can provide as many photo and video updates as you like. I will also keep up your training and exercise regimens. I have extra leashes, beds, and extra blankets on hand at all times. I can be home full time with your dog most days of the week, taking them on short errands with me, when necessary. If there are any tricks or behaviors you would like me to work on with your dog, don't hesitate to ask! I don't mind taking a last minute stay or booking a last minute walk! Contact me for more references. I am focused mostly on dog training, dog walking, and drop in visits. We can work out a custom doggy daycare rate for you and your work hours. I am working on perfecting my space for boarding. At the moment, that will be a case-by-case basis.
Reviews
Savannah is incredibly friendly and professional. I felt she went above and beyond accommodating Milo’s stay and took wonderful care of him. Lot of photos which I love, love, love. Absolutely recommend and can’t wait to reach out for future services!
Savannah has watched my three dogs for me twice now, and she was wonderful! When you have Savannah watch your dogs, you really get her whole family. It's a house full of dog lovers and really great people to help watch over your Furry Babies. My puppies were showered with love and I received lots of pictures showing me that they were having a good time. Savannah is very responsible and very sweet and I totally recommend her!
Savannah and her family are great. Mia took to Savannah right away and was playing with her husky, within seconds. I needed a doggie sitter last minute due to moving. Even though it was on the 4th of July weekend, she was still willing to take Mia last minute. I initially was hesitant taking Mia because I have asthma and can not be around cigarettes, but she was very hospitable and at made sure the air was smoke free around. When I did pick Mia up, it was obvious she missed me, but also obvious that she was well taken care of and enjoyed her stay with Savannah and her lovely family. I would definitely recommend using Savannah for a dog-sitter.
Savannah is very kind and cheerful girl that is reason I would let her to take care my dog for last two years, whenever my husband and I are travelling, Savannah will be the first one that we would ask for. she is from very respectful family, their rescued dog Tesla are best buddy with Malibu who is my dog. He is very happy dog. I am sure that Savannah will be the best one for your business. Good luck!

Information Savannah H. would like to know about your pet
I have a long list of questions to ensure that your dog experiences minimal changes to their routine, and maximum comfort. -What is your dog's normal feeding, walking, and exercise schedule? -Where does your dog usually sleep? (In bed with you, in a kennel, free in the house, etc) -How house trained is your dog? -Does your dog like social time with other dogs? -Does your dog like to hike? Is he a couch potato? -Is your dog currently sick or injured? What is the illness or injury and how are you treating it? -Is your dog currently in heat? -Does your dog have any food allergies? -Does your dog have anxiety, PTSD, or other mental health problems? Are there identifiable triggers that I can avoid?
A typical day
I can walk mellow dogs around your own neighborhood. I can take higher energy dogs on long, leashed walks in Kubota gardens. I also enjoy taking dogs to fenced dog parks, to socialize and run in a fenced, secure area. If your dog is getting older, I'm happy to take them on car rides, for adventures they can nap during. What do you normally do with your dog?
