Pet care experience
Currently available to sit in the following locations: Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Wilmington, and Harford County MD. I have been a dog owner all my life (two labs and a golden retriever growing up). I'm a former professional dog walker and animal shelter volunteer. I've taken care of dogs big and small, up to four at a time. I've taken care of up to 3 cats at a time and currently care for my own kitty. I've even looked after fish, hamsters, and chinchillas. I take my job seriously while enjoying it thoroughly. Walks, feeding, playing, and cleaning-- I'll take care of it! I'm a responsible and loving person who will put your pet's safety and well-being above all else. And, most importantly, I'll give them all the attention and affection I would if they were my own pet. You can feel safe leaving your buddy with me, an animal person who knows what she's doing. Please note: as a high-risk person who lives with other high-risk family members, I can only help households that are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Additionally, if you are exposed to COVID-19 or test positive before service, please let me know ASAP so alternate services can be arranged.

Savannah was great! Good communicator and kept everything in order. Our dog was happy and content during her stay.
Savannah did such a good job with my cat Nico while we were away for the weekend! All instructions were followed perfectly and we came home to a happy kitty. Savannah sent detailed updates and pictures while we were away and it was so nice knowing Nico was in good hands while we were gone.
Savannah is often dog sitting for our two pugs. Every time she’s super reliable and sends updates. She’s also very flexible as I had previously booked for one day shorter than I needed her by accident and realized only a day before and she was able to accommodate the super last minute change.
Savanah did a great job. When I arrived back from a trip my three cats were not stressed out at all which usually is the case. Highly recommend her for watching cats!

I take safety very seriously and have a great eye for preventing accidents. Your pet will never be outside unsupervised (if fenced-in) or without a leash (all other cases). I also take COVID safety seriously, being fully vaccinated and boosted. I will always be masked when meeting in person and can take a rapid test before I begin services.

I am most experienced with large dogs, but have taken care of small breeds as well. I just want to know what your dog/cat does and doesn't respond well to, and how you've handled their dislikes or behaviors in the past. I like to make your dog comfortable and treat them the way you would.
A typical day
We'll take leisurely walks to work off some of that doggy energy, or get some rounds of fetch in if you have a yard. While inside, there will be plenty of play and cuddles. Unless, of course, your dog is the more independent type. ;) For kitties, I have honed my techniques in the feather teaser and laser pointer arts.
