I’ve grown up around and loved animals my entire life. I’ve pet sat a wide variety of animals since I was 14 years old. From sheep, chickens and ferrets to the classic dogs, cats, fish, and turtles! My biggest job was farm sitting. I watched after 23 sheep, 10 chickens, an unknown amount of barn cats and a dog. It was hard work and I loved every second of it. I have the most experience taking car of large dogs (70+lbs) that are very hyper. I’ve cared for a German Shepard, a Dalmatian, many pitties, and other types of breeds. Growing up my family fostered countless dogs and cats through a company pitties and purrs and I was exposed to many pets who were nervous around strangers and had different walking styles. When I went to college I continued fostering for Columbia Animal Services. So far I have fostered 11 cats and a dog. Having a cat myself, I understand that your pet is your family and should be treated with love and respect. When I for a clients pet I like to have a written list of feeding, playing, and walking schedules to follow. I also love to know about the quirks the pets have! No list of directions is too long!
