We’ll discuss all the important details of care, starting with the logistics of the stay. As I specialize in overnight stays, combining house and pet sitting to save you money, I want your dog to be as stress free as possible. Once we figure out the basics, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet so that you and your pup can get comfortable with me. Then, we’ll discuss everything else I need to know about your home and your dog. With experience in providing care to senior and special needs dogs and administering oral and injected medication, knowing your dog’s medical issues and restrictions is important. Furthermore, I’d love to learn more about your dog’s personality. What are their favorite games, treats, and toys? Do they prefer cuddles on the couch or a long walk around the neighborhood? Your dog needs a consistent and stable environment to thrive and that’s what I strive for when I care for animals. Going over the rules, boundaries, and schedule you have already set up for your dog will help us to bond during the stay. For example, if you and your dog go for a run at 6am, so will I. Consistency is the key to a happy dog and this is what I always provide during a stay.

I want your dog to be as stress free as possible while you are away so sticking to their normal routine is important to me. If that looks like a daily trot to the dog park, a long walk around the neighborhood or an all-day snuggle session, I’m excited to spend time together. If your dog is especially active, I always enjoy hiking and beach walks. I’ll be a comforting presence to your pets in your absence. On each stay I’ll be in constant contact, texting each day with photos and updates on how your pup is doing. Any concerns or questions pop up during your trip? I’ll answer them quickly.
