Pet care experience
I have a dog with anxiety and know how it feels to worry about your pet when you're away! I'll walk your dog and make sure they get the exercise and potty breaks they need. I'm flexible with hours and will do my best to work with you if you have an odd schedule! I love walking dogs and checking on them at home. I'm also aware that accidents happen and will clean up any mess that I find! I have experience housesitting and am willing to do additional tasks that are helpful if you are out of town, like gathering mail, taking out the trash, and bringing in packages. I work from home so if you need tasks completed throughout the day, please let me know! For puppers who come to stay: Our home is in the midst of some home improvements, but I have comfy beds to lay on and the dogs are welcome to lounge on the furniture that's available. Though we don't have a fence currently, we do have a tie-out with a long cable and lots of yard for dogs to bask in the sun if they prefer being outdoors! Because we don't have a fence, if your dog is outside, I will also be outside just to be extra careful!

We have had Savannah take care of our very anxious dog, two cats, and lizard while we are travelling for work. Before any visit, I need to know the age, breed, temperament, and routine of your dogs. The following are helpful to know: Do any of your pets have any allergies? What medication, if any, does your dog take? Will it need to be administered during visits? Do any of your pets have any special needs or medical conditions? Do any of your pets have any behavioral issues including food aggression or anxiety? Do any of your pets have a history of biting people or other dogs? I also like to know your pet's normal routine. I know how important routine is for pets and I do my best to keep your pets as happy as possible.
A typical day
We can walk in your neighborhood, but if you'd like your dog to get an outing, we can go down to the nearest park for a fun walk. I always have a set of dog booties on hand in case the cement/asphalt is hot during the day to protect your dog's paws.
