My name's Savannah & as an animal lover & animal rights advocate, I would love to have the opportunity to walk or dog sit your animal. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to work with animals. At the moment I’m a veterinary technician & reception at an animal hospital. I love my job & I love working with animals. I get to take my pup with me to work everyday & I wouldn’t have it any other way. I take pride in my love for animals & specifically dogs especially growing up with them all around me. I worked on my dad's farm and took care of all the animals which included cleaning their areas. I actually think that some people don’t understand the connection you can have with an animal. Last January I lost my 4 year old American bulldog (Ben) to cancer & that was such a very hard thing to do. We rescued Ben from an abusive home & for the first few weeks he wouldn’t come out of his kennel. He eventually warmed up to us & became my best friend who went everywhere with me & wouldn’t even let me go to the bathroom by myself. So I decided to sign up for Rover to spread the care & the love that I have for animals & to ensure dog owners that their fur babies are safe and being taken care of.
