Pet care experience
I used to volunteer at a huge animal shelter in Los Angeles. I also worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Los Angeles, CA and in the Austin, TX. Both places allowed me to discover all types of breeds, ages, and temperaments. I currently work at Yard Bar in Austin where I get to experience new dogs everyday. Along with my professional training, I've also always had a dog in my personal life, including a Golden Retriever (Buddy) back home in Seattle and my roommate's Golden Retriever (Bonnie) here in Austin. My lifelong personal experience and professional experience has caused me an immense amount of joy. I truly love dogs and want to help ensure that they are living a happy and fulfilling life.

I'd like to know if your dog has any allergies to food, medication or anything else. I also want to know of any quirks they have and what they are ok with. Some dogs don't like certain body parts touched, some are leash or collar aggressive, some do not like small dogs/children/any other dogs. These things may limit where I can bring them but that is for their safety. Also any scratches, bumps or medical issues so in case I notice something you haven't listed, then I can make you aware of it. (After working so long with other people's dogs, this is more common than you'd think.)
A typical day
I am very flexible on location, as long as you (the owner) have ok'ed the spot beforehand. Austin has some great parks but not all are suitable for all dogs so I want you to be aware of your dogs limits. (For example: Needs a complete secured, fenced in park or not.) As I have stated, I work at Yard Bar and if your dog is a well behaved patron, I'd be more than happy with bringing them there. (This would not include the admission fee and you would still be 100% liable for your dog and his/her actions.)
