Pet care experience
I'm an experienced pet caretaker, having grown up in the country with all sorts of animals. I always had a hand in the training and raising of our animals, dogs especially. I helped my grandfather train bird dogs and have enjoyed training my own dog as an adult. He is a happy and well mannered senior dog, the mascot of my friend group everywhere we go. I enjoy animals of all sorts, also having a cat of my own. Having always been around animals I have a natural knack for animal behavior and feel very comfortable with puppies and training opportunities. I have professional experience working in a grooming shop working with both dogs and cats as well as plenty of experience caring for friends' pets, raising and being responsible for farm animals, and much more!

I cannot care for animals in my home as it is not permitted per my lease but when caring for a pet in its own home I would abide by what the owners generally do regarding leash, yard, etc.

Things I need to know in advance: ANY behaviors that will need my attention. I am very good with dog behavior and am willing to work with dogs who have some special needs in this area as long as I am fully up to speed on what kinds of behaviors they have, ways to avoid or work through them, and any and all safety concerns both for myself and your animal. Other important things are food regimen, any allergies, things to avoid, things your pet ENJOYS doing, basically anything you can tell me to better prepare me to care for your animal!
A typical day
It depends on what your pet likes to do but we'll certainly be busy! I would much rather be out and about with your pup than sitting at home so I would go to local parks, take walks around the neighborhood, play with toys, play in the yard if you have one that's fenced in. My dog and I like to go play outside as much as possible so I will be happy to do the same with your precious pupper.

Right now I am not working full time and am able to be flexible around just about any schedule for drop ins or walks. I'm not currently taking on new clients for house sitting.
