I have been a dog owner for 19 years and have been dog-sitting for friends and family for about 13 years. I don't currently have a dog of my own so I would love to be able to spend time with your dog(s) while you are away. I have previous experience with training a rescue adult dog and have trained 3 puppies of my own. I am reliable, will work around your pet's schedule and your personal requests for training and care, and love to give dogs all of the love and attention they deserve!

Your dog will receive all of the love and attention I have to give while they stay with me. I am a lover of all dogs and will take the time to engage them in the activities they enjoy. I'm very forgiving and I know accidents happen. My house has all hardwood floors so accident cleanup would be quick and easy! I also have a balcony and would supervise your dog on it so he/she can have all of the sniffs of the outdoors! I do not own any pets at this time and greatly miss having the company of an animal!

A typical day
I am a medical student and usually spend weekday mornings in class, return home for lunch, and occasionally go back to classes in the late afternoon. I’m always home by 5 pm and would love to spend time walking your dog, spending time on the balcony, playing tug and fetch, or cuddling up together in my home. On weekends I will be at home all day. I would love to have the company of your dog in my home!

Availability
I am a medical student at the University of Iowa, so during the week I will be in and out of the house for classes during the day. I have complete freedom on the weekends and would love to have a study buddy there with me and would love spending my free time taking care of your dog while you are away! They will be taken care of and given all the love and playtime they could ever want. I live right next to some nice walking paths and love going on walks there, so your dog will be in for quite the adventure!
