While going on vacation is exciting, having to leave your dogs is hard! In my care though, you can be sure that your dog is getting the love and attention you would give them! I have always been an animal lover. When I was little I constantly asked my parents for more pets, anything from a horse to a frog. Dogs have a special place in my heart though! I have a lot of experience with all breeds and temperaments. I have pet sit for the past 10 years. I worked at a German Shepherd training facility this past summer and currently volunteer at Westside German Shepherd Rescue in LA. I was recently fostering a German Shepherd that was surrendered a few times because of dog and people aggression. We worked through his many issues and now, he is an amazing dog! A trainer saw the work that I did with him and has asked me to help her train dogs this summer. I have a 9 year old Chihuahua. He is very easy going. He will lounge around all day until I say, "Let's go for a walk (or to the dog park)". He's are game for anything whether it's hiking, swimming at the beach, playing at the dog park or just a walk around the neighborhood. Our favorite thing to do is to spend a few hours hiking in the mountains! It isn't uncommon for us to go for 8 miles! I have a 2 bedroom apartment with a nice patio. There is tons of grass right outside of my apartment for potty breaks and I am 2 minutes away from 25 miles of hiking trails. My pup and I go at least 1-2x a week. My dog sleeps on my bed (underneath the covers) with me, so your pup is more than welcome to sleep on the bed, the couch or anywhere he chooses. My dog is my child and your dog will be treated just like family! He will join in on daily walks or hikes, play time and endless amounts of snuggling. I would love to watch your dog whether for the day or for a week! I am in school, so I do have class and cannot be home all the time with your dog.
