I cannot say enough good things about Savanah! She was very pleasant to deal with, efficient, very bright, extremely gentle and caring with my dog Bella, which is critical, as Bella has both Crushing's Disease and has had spinal surgery. While Bella is not in any pain, she walks slowly and has to be tended to very carefully and gently. Savanah being in nursing school, it really showed when she was taking such excellent care of Bella. She was kind enough to come to my home a few days before the sitting and spend time with me, so she could take the best possible care of Bella, which she did. I was also amazed at how quickly Bella took to her. I live alone and Bella is trained to bark continuously when a new person comes in the house, so that it would deter any intruders from coming in the house. However, once she gets barking because of a new person in the house, even when I say it's ok, it almost always takes 5 min or so for her to completely stop barking. Not with Savanah! Bella stopped barking in less than a minute and was very happy sitting next to Savanah. In addition, since she is a county licensed service dog and I am disabled, I take Bella EVERYWHERE, even doctor visits, etc. However, when I am having a procedure where I am being put out or in a sterile environment, I usually have my housekeeper stay with Bella, as she is NEVER alone, because since she is not used to it, it would frighten her. However, this time, my housekeeper was unavailable. My housekeeper has a dog too and it very nice to Bella and has been coming to my housed for years and still Bella will not willingly go on walks with just her and my housekeeper. What was really surprising is that, even though it was Savanah's first visit, Bella happily allowed Savanah to walk her with just her and Savanah. It is really amazing how well Savanah gets along with animals. I am always very nervous leaving Bella alone with anyone, but with Savanah, in 10 min. I knew it would be fine. And Savanah was able to handle things (giving Bella her meds, walking her, changing her water and adding the water supplement, etc.) completely on her own, without my assistance, which was wonderful, since when I came back, I had just had spinal injections and needed to stay in bed and rest. With Savanah's schooling and other job, I feel very fortunate she was available when I needed a sitter. She was above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I am very grateful to Savanah for taking such amazing care of Bella.

Savanah is a very kind and trustworthy person, and my pup could tell that right away. I received lots of photos and videos of them bonding and going on walks during her 4 nights of house sitting. She even took care of my cat, which generally isn't offered on Rover. I am so grateful to have someone like Savanah in the area, and will definitely be a repeat customer.
