Hi, my name is Savana, an experienced pet sitter and dog walker with an unmatched compassion for animals and a robust professional background that perfectly rounds out my skill set! I have always grown up around dogs and have worked with them for most of my life. I work at a animal hospital so I am comfortable and knowledgeable work with a large range or personality’s and breeds. I have experience dealing with aggressive and anxious needs and know how to handle them. I also keep my personal dog separated from clients dogs and often take him to work with me. So your pet will be able to roam my house free all during the day if that’s what you would prefer. During my lunch I also come hold to let the dogs and my boyfriend works from home most days! It was always my responsibility to care for the pups in our family and I learned how to train, feed and administer medicine early on as a child. I now own a high energy Rhodesian ridgeback/vizsla mix named Hoover who is allergic to grains and requires some extra TLC and daily medication. So if you have a pup with special needs, know that I have experience in this area! In addition to my personal experience with dogs, I also spent a little over two years volunteering at our local shelter, NOAH, where I was a dog walker and also worked with the kennel tech, helping with feeding and analyzing the dogs before adoption. This experience exposed me to all types—aggressive dogs, sweet-natured dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the amount of effort I put into to making sure each dog in my care is having a good time. I prioritize exercise and play and work hard to tire my pups out, while also rewarding good behavior with plenty of pets, positive words and love! I have a passion for photography so most likely you will get some amazing photos of your loved ones every day! I keep my clients up to date on their dog’s activities and make sure to keep our communication lines open.
