Pet care experience
Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. Through life on a farm, I have developed an immense love of all creatures, furred, feathered, and scaled. I have also had lots of experience caring for sick and injured animals. I have volunteered with both wild animals rescues, and the humane society.

Satchel is a kind and calming presence for all 3 critters. He also walked them regularly. He asked important questions and was great about our requests regarding medications, etc. We appreciate his patience very much. Would love recommending him to others and would be happy to have him again.
My pet loved the stay, could tell as she seemed very happy and relaxed. Bonus was because of their sweet little husky and their big yard. Satchel and his family were very friendly, would highly recommend!

House sitting is my specialty as I do not have too many pet responsibilities at home, giving me more time at yours! I’ve grown up around big dogs, old dogs and cats, and special needs animals, so i’m used to an array of care requirements. I love to walk dogs and cats, as well as visit the dog park as many times as they ask. Safety is number one while you’re out of town, so I will follow your guidelines/routine like the script for my big-break broadway audition. The more information you give me regarding your pet(s) the better. If you have a routine that your pet is used to, I encourage you to write it out so that I can follow it the best I can. Medications, health history, behavior around other dogs, cats, children, and feeding schedule are all very important to start. If you forget to tell me something important you can reach out any time to add on, never feel like you're being overbearing. It is your special friend after all!
A typical day
Pets under my care can expect lots of play time. I have a few favorite hikes near the house, one of which ends in a splash party in a large pool of the creek!

I'm currently in school, so my schedule allows me time in both the mornings and evenings to spend time with your wonderful pets. My weekends are also free.
