Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of every breed since I was 8 years old. I nurture every animal to the fullest of their needs. I am sporty and am flexible towards your pet's level of exercise and stimulation. I don't have children or pets myself. Neighbors and friends rely on me to walk, feed, play, host and love their pets and I do have clientele outside of Rover. I will give your pet undivided attention. In 2022, I lost my Shepherd mix to lung cancer; - I joined Rover through everyone's suggestion to share my love for all animals and help others take care of their beloved pets. I have a natural bond with all breeds of dogs, I strive to understand their needs, They are my priority and my joy.

Saskia is truly a dog whisperer… she has a way of understanding a dog’s soul. She took amazing care of our doggies during our wedding. When we returned to pick them up, she had given us a synopsis of our doggies in a way we never would have understood on our own. It was truly eye-opening the observations she shared with us, and did it in a such a fun way. You can tell she truly thrives around dogs. We will have a better relationship with our dogs after their stay. Thank you so much, Saskia! Not only did you take amazing care of our dogs for a couple days, you also changed our lives for the better!

I live in a beautiful, quiet, gated community with beautiful, serene, private parks. I live in a townhome with a back yard, fenced in. I enjoy your pet running free in the home and the pets I take care of, sleep crate free by my side at night. What I am known for: I never leave your pet alone and repeat clients have told me their pet is excited to see me and the home upon arrival and they see the how happy their pet is once back. It is very comforting to them and a joy for me to hear. I love to take your pet out for walks and fun all day whether it is at the complex, hiking trails, beach fun or walking different areas of San Diego depending on your pet's needs. I am 5-10 minutes walk away from the beach. I am flexible with how you would want me to take care of your pet and their needs. My goal is to give your baby a fun and caring time and unforgettable stay!

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games both indoors and out, explore, walk, hike, run, enjoy the outdoors to the level of your pet's needs. They tend to be deep asleep during evening hours thanks to the fun activities during the day:) I do love the outdoors and it gives me a lot of joy to bring your pet with me during our exploratory times in nature or simply periodic walks. I have a pet carrier on wheels for the little ones if needed:) Due to the fact that I take care of one family's pet(s) at a time, we create a natural bond and I have a good many repeat clients outside of Rover. I am very responsible and flexible and I follow your habits to close the transition gap between homes. Your pet is my priority during their stay: I am very much a planner so I ensure that my other responsibilities are taken care of prior to your pet's arrival.

My choice is to have one owner's pet (s) at a time to ensure that your fur baby has as much fun and comfort as possible in your absence. I currently work as a vacation rental host; work from home and have a good amount of time off in between managing the homes. I never leave them alone and adapt myself to the owner's dog care routine to allow for a seamless transition between homes. My goal is to ensure that your pet is happy and filled with fun activities in or outside.
