Pet care experience
I've walked dogs since I was 10 because I couldn't have my own. I was always asked to cat or dog sit neighbors or friends since than and is ALWAYS such a privilege. I helped raise and train a a litter of german shepherd puppies on a property I worked at. I also have experience with large breeds. I helped care for my husband's French mastiff, dog de Bordeaux and finally feel so privilidged to have our dream family dog, Apollo, our super sweet and gentle but fierce protector, Great Pyanees/Akbash.

Sasha and her husband are by far the best dog sitters. I've had dogs my entire life and have serious trust issues leaving them with anyone. In fact, other than my family I have never let anyone watch our animals for us. However, after meeting Sasha and her husband at a local dog park and seeing how they and their dog, Apollo, interacted with my 3 giant breed dogs I was convinced to try them out. My Great Pyrenees is extremely protective and does not like strangers, but she absolutely loves Sasha, her husband, her daughter, and especially their dog, who is also a guardian breed. My two giant newfoundlands were in absolute heaven getting to hang out in their awesome yard and everywhere in their house (including furniture cause they're spoiled princesses). Sasha understood how nervous I was leaving my dogs with them and she sent me detailed updates with pictures and videos every single day without being prompted. My girls LOVE being with them.

We go on daily morning walks before the heat kicks up in the summer time followed by my dog's first meal of the day. We do some intermittent treat training for mental challenge- keeping everyone content & satified. Always providing positive reinforcement for encouraging good behavior°•.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I should know about. We prefer a dog that can't jump our smallish fence and loves to socialize with our friendly dog. A dog that is crate trained as well.
A typical day
I love to play "reward focused" mentally challenging games with dogs. I find they are more satisfied and happier after a good challenge that has been rewarded with treats. Super fun one is working on impulse control- and dogs learn this real fast! If they dog loves fetch, (my dog doesnt understand) my daughter & I love to play the old classic game of fetch with our doggy guests. I love to take my dog to freely run around and play with other dogs at the dog park-art dye dig park is our "go to". Lastly we go for an early morning walk with the whole family and dog(s). It's our favorite part of our daily routine. Although winter time is more challenging, so we only get out over the weekends.

Availability
I currently stay at home to raise my daughter, 2 yo, while my husband works. My child, my home and my dog are my JOBS and I feel I could easily welcome some new (& revisiting) friends for my pup. Every weekend we visit the dog park (if weather conditions are good) and we love our morning walks!
