Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs for the past 6 years. Whether it be my dog or a neighbors I always was helpful with walking, feeding and socializing. Between having my own dog and helping out others as well as volunteering. I've learned how to connect with dogs and take care of them. I've learned how to bathe cut nails, how to avoid potential triggers and a little bit of training here and there. I love dogs and I love getting to help others who may not have the time to walk or play with their dog and be their substitute for those activities. It's something I enjoy and find rewarding.

I provide the utmost care I can for these dogs. I will make sure they are on a leash at all times make sure that potential triggers are handled. I am never rough. I never will try to provoke a dog into doing what I want it to do. I am always watching them and their behavior trying to figure out how they feel.

I would like to know the triggers for the dog. What gets them excited or scared or angry. I'd like to know what training they have if any. What is their mood and demeanor, is is easy to get along with them or no? Are they good listeners.
A typical day
I like to greet the dogs say hello let them get to know me and I get to know them. Sniffs are welcome and I give pets to those who want them. I like to go on walks around the neighborhood in places that have lots of nice smells for the dogs to check out. I tend to stay away from busy street or areas where there are a lot of people just to be on the safe side. Grassy areas are a always great especially if they are fenced as the dogs can run free. Availability
I'm currently looking for part time work so I'll be able to take the dogs when I have free time. I am always happy to squeeze in a walk when I'm not doing anything as it keeps me from getting bored and I can socialize with them as I prefer dogs over humans.
