Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my whole life. Golden Retriever, Pitbull and Black lab. Me and my wife Cathy dog sit for friends all the time and love it. We're only a few blocks away from the dog park under RFK bridge, and 3 blocks away from Astoria Park — where we love to walk dogs. Spacious apartment in a house in a quiet street in Upper Ditmars with plenty of room for dog crates, toys, etc. so that your pet will feel comfortable in.

I’m so happy we booked Sasha and Catherine to take care of our anxious dog, Oscar. He has special needs including medications he takes twice a day, separation anxiety, fear of other dogs, and apprehension toward new people, but Sasha and Catherine were willing to take all of this on. They allowed him space to adjust and listened to his cues well, so he quickly warmed up to them. It’s so clear from our interactions that they are thoughtful people who are true animal lovers. We’ll be booking them again soon!
Sasha and Catherine were great to work with. I appreciated the opportunity for my shy and quirky rescue to do a meet and greet before confirming the booking. Sasha sent frequent text updates and photos, and he spoiled her with so many walks! Most importantly I knew Suki was safe and her boundaries were being respected. They were even so kind as to drop all her stuff back to my apartment in their car at the end of her stay. I would trust Sasha and Cathy again with Suki in the future!
We love Sasha and Catherine so much and so does our dog Oona- they’re our go-to in the neighborhood! Our dog is shy with other humans and takes time to be comfortable, but she pulls me towards their house every time she knows we’re near. They are kind, communicative, reliable, and they follow any instructions with ease. They send cute photos and keep me updated. Oona gets great walks and always comes home satisfied. I also appreciate that they use the app to the full extent!
Catherine and Sasha were so great with Chuck. I could tell how comfortable Chuck was with them and they really cared for him so well. They provided so many updates and pictures of him, which I really appreciated because I missed Chuck so much! Highly recommend these two if you want your dog to be well cared for and played with. Thanks again Catherine and Sasha!!!

A typical day
We explore the Upper Ditmars area of Astoria. I try to stay clear of the N/W subway line as some pets don't like the noise. I frequent the dog parks under the RFK bridge and in Astoria Park. When walking your pet in Astoria Park, I'll never unleash them (unless given specific permission to do so).

Availability
With enough notice, I can work from home for 3 days in a row (in addition to weekends). Can easily walk your pet first thing in the morning, twice during the day, and right before bedtime.
