I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. That includes feeding, walks or playtime, litter or potty breaks, and giving them plenty of attention (or space, if they prefer!). I always make sure their environment is safe, clean, and calm. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to ensure their pet feels secure and well cared for.

It’s super helpful for me to know your pet’s daily routine, personality, and any special needs—like meds, allergies, or quirky habits (yes, even if they bark at ceiling fans or only drink from the bathtub). I also like to know how they do with strangers, other pets, walks, crates, and being solo. The more I know, the better I can make sure they’re comfy, happy, and totally living their best life while you’re away.
A typical day
It depends on what they enjoy! For dogs, I’m all about walks, tug-of-war, fetch, and backyard zoomies. For cats, I bring out the toys, laser pointers, and cardboard boxes (a classic). I also love giving pets quality one-on-one time—whether that means play, snuggles, or just hanging out together on the couch. I always match their energy and let them lead the fun!
