Currently I am not mixing dogs from different families. I had my first dog, a Weimerarner, 19 years ago, and when she was 2.5 years old, we got a companion, Maiya, to keep her company. Maiya, The Doberman passed away on Valentine's Day just before Covid, and when lockdown happened, to fill the void I started a dog walking business. I was already walking my friend's dog, and she encouraged me to start a business doing what I loved. Now, I have wound down the dog walking business, but I have kept one client, a cute little Cockerpoo, that lives a few doors down from me. I regularly help my friends with their dogs. Walking them, feeding them, and bathing them as well! We all know dogs love to roll in things! I have dog walking insurance. And I have a DBS certificate as well (I'm a Dispensing Optician). I was even in an article in the Optometry Today magazine, in a feature about professionals and what they do outside of optics.
