Pet care experience
I’ve had a black lab for 13 years, a cat for 4, and a chinchilla for 2! My parents have also had pets throughout their lives. I dog sit for family friends a lot, from stopping in for potty breaks, to staying weekends, and even staying up to a month. I love all furry friends & will take great care of them, as I know how it feels to have to leave them for periods of time.

I live with my parents and we have a very large, unfenced yard and a leash run to connect to their collar, but unfortunately I do not have a crate. I have no pets in the home, other than my chinchilla who is caged, with no worry of escaping. My house has hardwood & linoleum flooring, carpet in the bedrooms. I live on a small quiet block with freshly paved roads, perfect for walking. We do let furry friends on furniture, but if you would prefer otherwise we will not allow it. Also, if your cat is not declawed that is perfectly fine, our furniture is used to it. We used to slip our pup some people food here and there (peanut butter, cheese, the occasional spoonful of ice cream, different fruits & veggies) but none will be given to your pet unless given permission!

Information Sarina W. would like to know about your pet
Before watching your best friend I would like to know how they are on walks, as I am a little on the smaller side. I don’t mind running at all, but I would prefer to not be drug face first down pavement (which I’m sure is understandable!). I want to make sure I have a good handle on them so that no one gets away! I also require at least one meet & greet prior to watching to assure everything running smoothly.
A typical day
As I had mentioned in the previous section, I have the perfect neighborhood for walking, and Buhl Park in Hermitage is only about a 10 minute drive for nice walks. Including a couple toys with your pet would be great! The pups I have previously watched have always loved a quick drive to Starbucks for a Pup Cup, but only with permission.
