Pet care experience
Welcome! William and I (Saralyn) are a pet sitting duo (including a former CVT - certified veterinary technician), with 3+ years of professional care taking experience. We enjoy enriching animals lives through tender care, affection, and consistency. Please note: - Our house is home to one child, who is great with her animal manners. She loves dogs, and has been taught how to interact with pets since she was 2. In our home, we want to foster good relationships with animals by reading their body language, remaining calm, reacting appropriately, and NEVER pestering them. Rest assured, when in the house with your pet, they will never be left unsupervised together. - We have one cat at home, who will be kept separate from visiting dogs. If your dog is good with cats, GREAT. If not, no big deal! :) Since we have a lot of visiting dogs, our cat knows the drill. - As I may be boarding multiple dogs at a time, dogs with good socialization are preferred. As your dogs may also take trips to the dog park, good manners are strongly encouraged. - For dogs staying with us for extended periods of time, a kennel is highly recommended.
Reviews
Saralyn did a wonderful job with our 8 week old puppy. She sent us pictures and kept us updated throughout the day. Buckley, our puppy, came home happy and ready for a nap, which mom and dad were grateful for! We’re very happy overall and will be boarding with Saralyn again soon!
Saralyn was AMAZING with our dog Bandido!!! She was very accommodating, personable and easy going... specially this being the first time using Rover or this service. She sent us pictures and kept us updated. Our dog was very happy and well taken care of. Definitively will recommend booking with her!!
Saralyn was great with our pups! She treated them like they were at home and made them feel comfortable and safe. We appreciate the care she provided and definitely recommend her to other dog owners!!
We had a great experience with Saralyn! When we picked up our pup he was exhausted and happy. He must have played hard! We would highly recommend Saralyn to anyone who needs an overnight sitter. She was very nice to work with and very knowledgeable about the dogs and their care.

Information Saralyn S. would like to know about your pet
Getting to know your pets is the most important way for us to do our best! Any details you can provide about your pet: medical needs, temperament, favorite treats/play, dietary needs, etc. Health: Does you dog require special medical attention? Medications? Is there a condition we should be aware of? Is your pet recovering from surgery or other medical care and requires special activity restriction/physical therapy? Let us know so we can keep your pet healthy during their stay! Vaccinations strongly encouraged. Veterinary contact information is also helpful, should your pet need to visit the doctor for any reason. Temperament: Is your dog shy at first? Hyper? How does your pet behave with other animals? Does your dog have certain behavioral triggers we should know about (car chasing, barking, easily startled, avoidance of people, etc.)? What is the best way to handle your pets anxiety, if any? Behavior/Training/Handling: How is your dog trained? What commands does your dog understand? Hand signals? Verbal cues? How does your pet behave during walks? Is your pet off leash trained? Are there any behaviors you would like discouraged? Encouraged? Does your pet have a naughty habit we should be aware of (gets into the trash, litterbox, etc.) so we can better prepare for their stay? Play/Reward: What is your dog's activity level? How does your pal play? What is their favorite game? Does your pet have a favorite toy? What is the best way for us to encourage positive behavior? Belly rubs, a favorite play toy, treats? Feeding instructions: What kind of dietary restrictions, if any, does your pet have? Is your pet on special or prescription food? How much and how often is your dog fed? Does your pet have any special feeding instructions (must eat alone, eats best in the presence of people, no treats, allergies, etc) ? Comfort: How can we make your pet the most comfortable? Is your pet allowed on the furniture? Does your pet have a habit that keeps them happy (nesting in blankets, warming feet, calm cuddles, laying in their pet bed)? Any special instructions to remain consistent with home and happiness? Any other information to make your pet comfortable is greatly appreciated! We also strongly encourage you to bring their favorite toys, blankets, beds, etc. to help them feel at ease with us during their stay!
A typical day
We live in a three story duplex, with plenty of space for play. Though it is not fenced in, our backyard is clean and spacious with plenty of room for furried friends to enjoy! We are located near Kromrey Middle School, so walks will occur around our home. We are lucky enough to have several parks nearby, as well as several nature trails. On occasion, we may take your companion to a pet store or dog park, dog pass/license/vaccinations permitting, for a treat.
