Work from home dog lover and owner
Pet care experience
About Me: My name is Sarail. I love all animals and I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I am a Paralegal who works from home, so I am home about 90% of the time. I do have to occasionally travel for work, and will mark the calendar to detail that I am unavailable if I do have to travel. Because I work from home, my schedule is relatively flexible, you can count on me to adapt to what you and your dog needs. Your dog will get plenty of attention and care with me. My current dog is 10.2 lb Bichon Poodle mix name Chloe and she's the center of my world. She is an extremely social and fun loving dog. I try to do as much as possible with her and avoid leaving her home alone when I can. She always gets plenty of exercise and attention. I take her to the dog park as often as I can. We train with each other several times a week, and we take classes 1-2x per week. You can bet that I will give you dog the same amount of attention and care that I give mine. My Experience: I have owned dogs practically all my life. I have previously owned a German Shepard, a German Shepard/Terrier Mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer. I currently own my dog Chloe as detailed above. I have also dog sat and walked dogs for friends, family and colleagues of mine over the past several years. I have experience taking care of a friend's elderly diabetic dogs who requires insulin shots and a specific meal schedule on several occasions. I have had my current dog Chloe since she was a 10 weeks old, so I have loads of experience taking care of a puppy. If you have any questions or would like any information, please let me know.

Information Sarail G. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog house trained? Puppy pad train? Crate trained? How are they with different dogs, people, and children? How are they on a leash? Can they be walked with another dog? Are there any particular issues I should know about? Is there something your dog hates or really dislikes? What are the things your dog loves? Are they possessive over toys, treats and/or their food? What treats or food is your dog allowed to have? (I always keep boiled or unseasoned grilled chicken on hand, so let me know if I can give your dog small amounts as a treat or what they are allowed or not allowed to have). I have no problems with any issues your dog may have as long as they are okay with my dog. If they are possessive or prefer to be walked alone that’s okay. I know plenty of dogs that are friendly when off leash but have a different personality when on leash. And same goes with toys. I prefer dogs under 25 lbs because my dog does best with them (she often forgets her size with big dogs because she finds them so fun), however I have experience caring for bigger dogs and am happy to watch a medium sized dog. My condo does have some weight restrictions, so unfortunately I can’t host a large dog, but if you have a big dog, and need a dog walker, I would be happy to walk them and check in on them.
A typical day
If your dog is friendly and likes other dogs, I will be happy to take him or her to the dog park with my dog. I stay in the small dog side and try to go during times when the park isn't too crazy. Regardless if your dog likes or doesn't like dog parks, we will enjoy several walks a day. There are multiple parks and tons of grassy areas by me to go for a walk. There will be lots of play time and attention since I'm usually home all the time. My work is also dog friendly, so if on the unlikely chance, I had to go into the office last minute, your dog could come along (if they like car rides and it is okay with you). They will get plenty of exercise and plenty of indoor playtime with me and my pup. I have several dog beds in my home for dogs to rest on and I always have plenty of blankets available for your pup to cuddle with when they are ready for a nap. I have lots of dog toys and activities in my home too. If your dog is possessive I have no problem temporarily removing the toys to prevent conflict. If your dog know some tricks I can work on their recall skills. If your dog is allowed treats, I can even try to teach them some new tricks. My dog knows the basics (sit, down, stay, wait, paw, kisses, hand touches, roll over) and she know some tricks that are slightly more advanced (bang/play dead, wave bye bye, spinning/twirling, high-five, going into heal position, going around me into heal position, coming and sitting directly in front of me, and I usually try to teach her a new trick every couple of months or so). If you have any tricks you want me to work on with your dog, I would be happy to try to help and/or reinforce the training you are working on. Dogs are allowed on my furniture, so if you are okay with them joining me on the couch or bed, they can cuddle with me anytime. My dog loves dogs and is a huge cuddler. She will likely want to play and then snuggle with your dog. If you dog gets a little messy while staying with me, I will happily give them a bath free of charge (as long as they fit in my bath tub and don't mind baths), just let me know if they require any special shampoo and if the mind the blow dryer. If you need me to pick up or drop off your pup, I will be more than happy to pick them up and drop them off for a surcharge of $10.00 (depending on distance, location, and time). If you live within 10 minutes from my home, I will be willing to waive the transportation fee, as long as the pick up and drop off time is reasonable. I'm pretty flexible, so if there is something you or your dog needs, I can take care of it.
