Pet care experience
There was a point in my life where I had as many as six dogs in my home, so I knew to care for every individual pup, from feeding and walking them to giving them the attention they needed. I also volunteered at the Humane Society one summer, where I walked dogs and cleaned cages during my shifts. This gave me experience interacting with dogs both inside and outside my own home.

Sarah was a great pet sitter for our three cats! She was in communication daily with photos from every visit. The girls were quick to warm up to her and wanted to play and be pet. She had patience with my shy boy and let him slowly get used to her on his own terms. We will certainly book again!

I love to walk outside, so I would happily bring along a pet with me. I would also be able to take dogs to the park if they enjoy that. I like to give pets as much attention as possible, through belly rubs and head scratches to lying on the couch together.

A typical day
We'll play a bunch of games and toys and keep your dog exercised if they’re energetic. If your dog wants a relaxing time, we’ll chill on the couch or your backyard if it’s nice out. I generally send one update photo a day with a blurb on how they’re doing but if I don’t have any questions that’s mostly what I do as far as updates go—I figure you want to focus on your trip!

Availability
Pet care fits into my daily routine as I have a pet bunny whose litter box I change every day and who I feed every morning. Now that I am a graduate with a job, I would like to find the time to also take care of and spend time with dogs, which would be through early evenings, nights, and weekends. I do not currently have a dog of my own, as my dogs are childhood dogs in my hometown.
