Certified Behavior Specialist!
Pet care experience
With over a decade of experience training and caring for dogs, it’s safe to say this is my passion! After obtaining my degree in the Psychology of Animal Behavior and Training I became a dog trainer across multiple disciplines to include puppy training, basic & advanced obedience, behavior modification (aggression, fear, anxiety), dog sports, trick training, protection training, scent work, and more. Dogs have been the forefront of my professional career since the beginning! As a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) and Veterinary Behavior Technician I am well adapted to caring for dogs with special needs and behavioral considerations to include aggression, anxiety disorders, fearful behaviors, compulsive tendencies, and more.
Reviews
Always amazing!!
We love Sarah! Very trustworthy!
Our dog Kodi came home from Sarah’s a happy guy. She sent pictures of him playing in the yard so we were reassured he was comfortable while we were away. Also really accommodating to his quirks!
No problems at all.

Safety, trust & environment
Please note, if you are interested in boarding, I specialize in aggressive dogs and therefore do often have dogs in my home with behavior concerns, so for everyone’s safety dogs are contained in either crates or kennel runs when unsupervised, sleeping, or other dogs with differing personalities are getting their play time in. If you are looking for an environment where your pup can free roam a home with the residence dogs for the entirety of their stay we are not the sitter for you, but there are plenty out there! I am well adapted to having dogs that are not dog friendly and would prefer to be interacted with, played with, and walked alone - let me know your dog's specific needs! Additionally, if this is not an environment you or your dog would be comfortable with, I am available for drop-in visits instead! Oftentimes this is a better arrangement for more behaviorally sensitive dogs so they can stay on the comfort of their own home!

Information Sarah Z. would like to know about your pet
I am very experienced with all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs as well as medical and behavioral special needs. Let me know what your dog needs are and I will be more than prepared to care for them!
A typical day
Our home has a large fenced yard for play times and a small fenced yard for potty breaks. The main level in our home, consisting of the main living spaces, features multiple dog beds, toys, and free access to water - dogs are welcome to hang out in this space during the day when I am free to supervise and only if they are comfortable with it. The lower level is complete with multiple crates and kennel runs with beds, toys, and water dishes - dogs will remain in this space when I am unable to supervise, am away from the home, overnight for sleeping, and when other dogs with differing personalities are getting their play time in.

Availability
I am a full time dog trainer and veterinary consultant. Much of my work is done from home or in the homes of my clients in the surrounding areas and for this reason my availability is pretty open. I am available for all major holidays and am flexible with scheduling, however I do usually book up in advance. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits on here, however if you are interested in boarding your dog in my home I only offer this through my specialized behavior boarding business. You can find me and those services at www. fearfreebnb .com.
