Hi! I’m 20 years old and I absolutely love dogs! I have owned dogs with my family for about 12 years, we currently have 2 rescues. Our previous dog was born with muscular dystrophy and needed special accommodations his whole life, so I have experience with disabled/senior dogs. One of our current rescues struggles with anxiety and reactivity so I have experience with behavior quirks in dogs. Our other rescue is fearful of strangers so I know how to manage that. I have a car and I am happy to go to your house to watch, feed, exercise, and dote on your dog(s). I do not take houses with cats, I am allergic. Please reach out with any questions or requests! I work another job from 2:00-5:00 on Tuesdays and 12:00-2:00 on Thursdays. I’m willing to still watch your dogs those days but just know I will have to leave at those times. I’m available most weekends and my calendar is up to date. I’d prefer to come to your house, either staying over or just checking in throughout the day. I have a car and I am open to take your dog(s) to the dog park, forest walks, neighborhood walks, or anything else your pup may need. I can feed, brush, let out, and love your dog(s) as much as needed. I believe all dogs deserve love!

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Sarah come and care for our pug Fred. Fred is blind, mostly deaf and has minimal use of his back legs. He is easy, but also not. With that being said the communication leading up to her care and during was above and beyond. I have been in the pet sitting industry for 25 years and I appreciate all the details and care she administered during her time. She had to endure constant howling (separation anxiety) and feeding a stubborn little his medicines 2x a day. I would 10/10 recommend her to care for a pett any age. She also was an amazing house guest too!

Sarah watched our two dogs in July and we cannot recommend her enough. She took excellent care of our pups and was able to handle their anxious behavior. I was so nervous about leaving them but Sarah kept in communication with me the whole weekend and sent pics. She’s a wonderful dog-sitter and I’d would hire her again in a heartbeat! MLY
Sarah has a wonderful kind disposition and the people and dogs she meets can feel it. Benjamin, our coonhound, has separation anxiety and Sarah put him at ease. He loves to walk and Sarah took him to places where he could have a lengthy walk, which put us at ease. We do not hesitate to contact Sarah to see if she has any availability, she is conscientious and caring.

I’ll accept dogs of any size, condition, or breed, however if the dogs individual personality does not make me feel comfortable I may decline. Before taking a job, I would like to come meet them to get a feel for their personality, temperament, energy levels, etc. I also will send you an intake form to fill out about your dog before I start a job.
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks through the Reading town forest or to Harold Parker. If your dog has decent recall I’m ok doing these walks off leash, but I can also keep them on leash if that’s what works for them. Regardless, other off leash dogs might approach them so they need to be ok with that. I can also take your dogs to your favorite spots to walk or just around the neighborhood. If your dog likes other dogs, I could take them to my house for a bit and let them meet my dogs. Our yard is fully fenced in and great for playing.

I’m home from college for summer vacation for the coming months so my availability is pretty open. My life revolves around dogs during the summer and I’m happy to bring yours into the pack!
