I've been working in the veterinary field since I was 17 and I have just recently started working in emergency veterinary medicine. I started out as a kennel assistant for a year where I spent most of my time take care of the boarding animals, then I worked in general practice as a veterinary assistant until 2021 when I made the move to emergency medicine. I will soon be receiving my Veterinary Nursing degree from Purdue University and afterwards I will continue working as a full time ER technician while working towards my own personal goals. I do my best to keep your pet on their regular schedule, however I do like to inform owners that my schedule requires me to work 10 hour shifts. I am always willing to provide my schedule to you if I have it so we can see if the schedule will work or not! Safety is my biggest concern while you are away. I make it a point to keep anything they may think about ingesting (food, toys, rocks) away when necessary and I keep a close eye on them when they are outside, even in a fenced in yard.
