Pet care experience

I absolutely adore dogs. Their unconditional love is amazing. They all have such different and great personalities and brighten up my day. I'm always stopping to pet one when walking down the sidewalk or park. I understand an owner's love for their dogs. I feel like love isn't even a strong enough word. I know personally, I couldn't live without them! I have experience dog sitting for a couple families back in Wisconsin where I am from, and also here in Colorado near the Aspen area. One of the dogs has diabetes, so I had to learn how to check his blood and give him insulin shots, never leaving him alone for too long, just in case and also making sure I had all supplies needed while on walks or hikes. It was an interesting experience and I'm glad I learned it for him and dogs in the future who might have the same issue. Just before I moved to Denver, I rescued a few dogs in the valley where I lived. I'm always on foot or bicycle. I happened to run into these few dogs, each at different times, and was able to get them back home safely. I didn't leave their side until I did, even keeping one overnight until the owner was reached. I know, as a dog owner and lover, how devastating it can be to lose a dog. I am responsible, reliable and caring. I will follow and respect whatever instructions you may have for you dog(s). My availability right now is pretty flexible, and I hope in the future to have full time availability. I am able to walk or check on your dog(s), Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from as early as 6am to 3pm. Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, I am available from 6am to 7pm and Saturday from 6am to 5pm. I look forward to meeting and caring for your dog(s)!

Sarah has been a responsible owner of three incredibly loving dogs in her life. She takes training and discipline seriously and thoughtfully. She is a loving and caring person, and puts the dogs needs above all else. I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a trust worthy dog sitter. Your dog(s) will be happy you picked her too!

Sarah is a natural with all pets! My shy golden/border collie mix warmed right up to her! Sarah also had some great training tips for my energetic pup. Your pets will love her!

Sarah grew up with dogs and has been a dog lover her whole life. She has also owned her own dog and cat. Sarah is patient and kind and would be a responsible person that you could count on to take care of your pet.

Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences. I would like to know before caring for your dog(s), whether they have an illness, need to take medication, are good with other dogs, kids and people, what kind of activities they like and how long they can be walked for. I ask that last question because some dogs may be too old for a long walk or maybe have bad hips or something like that. Either way, I always keep an eye on them and make sure to have plenty of water with me.

A typical day

Unfortunately, I can't have dogs stay with me at my house for the moment, but when I can, they can enjoy ball or frisbee playing, tug of war, walks, and plenty of snuggling and petting! That is if they allow it. As for where to walk, if there is a park nearby, I'd prefer to take them there, but if not, a walk around the neighborhood or town should be suitable.
