No-harm, patient, and gentle.

Pet care experience

I have been caring for animals since childhood and have been a professional pet/house sitter since 2005. I advocate for no-harm training and am intuitive to animal’s non-verbal communication to help meet needs. I have a 7 year old Sheepadoodle who is an extraordinary therapy animal - both to humans and other animals.

I couldn't be more pleased with the care my two dogs received from Sarah (& June) during their 8-day stay at her home. She went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and happiness, while also sticking to their regular feeding routine. Communication was always reliable and I received daily updates and photos that reassured me they were in good hands. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful!! She was very attentive to Bal’s quirky personality and worked to get to know his specific needs. She gave me a number of updates during his stay that helped put me at ease that he was having a great time. He can sometimes struggle to eat, and she made sure to update me specifically on his eating and she tried different things to ensure he was eating while there (which aligned with what we talked about ahead of time). This was my first time using Sarah, and I look forward to her watching Bal in the future and will book her again!

Sarah was great with our GSP. I was a little worried because it was the first time we have boarded her but Sarah put us at ease with constant updates and pictures! We will definitely use her again the next time we need to board our dog!

I am finishing my PhD and work on it remotely. I can work from anywhere and love taking breaks to interact with animals. It’s actually an important part of my life - taking time to do so so I can return to my studies with renewed vigor.
