Welcome to the Lane Street Pet Retreat - Where dogs go to feel the WOO in WOOF! Your hosts Sarah & Johnny are the extended family you never knew you had! What can we say? We love having the company of pets in our home and get such a kick out of getting to know the many personalities in this city. If your dog's an athlete she can come for a run with us or try some doggy yoga. Your pet will become one of our family and have full run of the house, where they will discover one of the many hide'n'go seek places to curl up and dream sweet dreams. We have a medium-sized back yard but take our own pooch to run off-leash in a private fully-fenced park a short drive away. It's a spectacular space to run wild and free! Johnny grew up with dogs and Sarah (a true blue Aussie) has traveled the world volunteering in animal shelters including Nepal, Turkey and Malaysia. Together we spent the 2012 summer in Toronto as professional dog walkers and have experience with many breeds from Chihuahua's to Cane Corso's with every energy level and temperament in between. In May 2016, after many years caring for other fur babies, we finally added to our own pack by adopting a retired greyhound, Starblazer. He is a gentle, friendly, curious pooch who is enjoying life beyond the track and loves to play as much as he loves long naps and cuddles in his retirement. Our home is available for short to mid-term stays plus we can also come to you. We would love the chance to care for your furry family members so please do get in touch with us!
