Pet care experience
My name is Sarah and I am looking for dog-care opportunities. I am a young professional in DC and plan to dogsit in my free time (primarily weekends, although other arrangements could be worked out). I am living in NW D.C. in a dog-friendly apartment building and I have access to several nearby parks for walking. Additionally, I will have intermittent access to a car so I can go farther distances if you would like me to. I am the proud mother of a ten-year-old Cavalier-Bichon mix named Georgie. I have ample experience taking care of her as well as two birds and fish. I have loved dogs for my entire life and I am so excited to welcome yours into my home.

Sarah was great and kept us updated while we were away. We received pictures and news as to how Turbo was feeling. We were not worried about Turbo while in Sarah's care. She asked questions if she needed anything. When picked Turbo up, he was tired and slept the rest of the day. We would book with Sarah again and have peace of mind in doing so! Even though Sarah doesn't have a yard, she lives near S Street Dog Park, which was a huge plus.
Sarah is a great sitter. She consistently sent photos and updates and responded quickly. Will definitely hire her again to look after my pup.
In the ten years I have known Sarah she has always been a responsible pet owner. She has cared for her mother’s dog Georgie since she was adopted. She grew up caring for dogs, birds and fish. Sarah is skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to pets of all kinds.
