Pet care experience
If you want someone who will make your dog sleep like a baby tonight, I'm your girl! My partner Dale and I love animals, and we both grew up on farms when we were younger. We have a shy cat in the house who hides under the bed, and she is used to dogs being around. Although we don't have a dog of our own, we somehow end up being the go-to people for most of our friends to dog sit since we are the ultimate adventure couple. We are very active, love the outdoors, and spend 2-3 hours a day (and sometimes more) doing physical activity. Whether we go for a walk down by the river, a run in the Bangor City Forest, or a hike up Chick Hill, we will keep your dog busy and happy! If you have an older dog that can't handle too much physical activity, we can just cuddle all day instead!
Reviews
Excellent! Thank you!
Sarah goes beyond the call of duty the two times that I brought my dog Ozzie for her to watch. Excellent experience all around! Thank you
Sarah was wonderful! She took great care of Ozzie. Took him down by the river for a long walk and I’m sure he thoroughly enjoyed it. I finally slept till 730 in the morning when Ozzie typically wakes up around five.Top shelf!
Another great stay! Thank you!

Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. We accept all breeds, including ones that others may stay away from (pit bulls, for example, who are some of the sweetest dogs I have ever met). We would prefer a dog that is well-behaved on a leash since we will go on lots of walks.
A typical day
We often go on walks around the neighborhood. Right down the street is a park along the Penobscot River, and if you don't mind your dog swimming, we have a nice calm spot they can go in. We also go to the Bangor City Forest all year long. In the winter we cross-country ski with the dogs, and other times of the year we will mountain bike, hike, and run. I treat all Rover dogs as if they were my own. I genuinely love animals, and because of that I will go above and beyond to make sure they are happy. I don't do the minimum job needed to keep your dog comfortable. I take this very seriously and am proud of the love and attention I will give your animals, whether it is a drop-in visit or they are staying the night. Consider me the "grandma" that will spoil and love you dog until momma comes back!
