I've always been an animal lover. I had Guinea Pigs as a kid and spent time with horses when possible. I still like to ride. As a student I had fish and now have had our sausage spaniel for the last 7 years. Before and since having Otto, I dog sat for friends. Otto is a Dachshund Spaniel mix, a rescue from Greece. A gentle natured intact male who loves walking with his fur friends. He getting used to having new dogs in the house, so for now I'm only taking dogs with no major behavioural issues. Of course a bit of naughtiness is ok, just no potential show of aggression. I have loved learning how to communicate with Otto, train him and give him the best life possible. He needs quite a bit of mental stimulation, so each day in between walks, we play games and learn new tricks. If this floats your dogs boat, I'd be happy to play with them too. And I am always available for cuddles. My partner works from home and he loves interacting with dogs too. They'll be no shortage of contact, if that's what your dog likes. I know how important it is when leaving your dog with someone else, to know they are being well looked after. There will be photos and videos, if you'd like. When your dog is with me, they will be my main priority. I run a small business from home, that currently takes up very little of my time. We have a good sized garden for the dogs to be in. Plenty of room to play, or just sniff the air, with a doggy sand pit and paddling pool in summer. And if they're staying for a while they'll have a variety of walks.
