Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Sarah and I would love to meet you and your pets! I have had dogs (and cats) most of my life and have decided to make it my passion to work with animals professionally as well. Personally, I have had a wide variety of breeds including a Japanese Mastiff and a one eyed Caribbean Potcake named Willie. I am currently a professional dog walker and am aspiring to become a behavioural trainer, and earn my professional training designation (CPDT-KA) as well. Prior to this, I worked at a specialty pet store and volunteered at AARCS. I also hold certifications from ICS Canada in holistic pet care and have my pet first-aid certificate. I am looking to work with all types of dogs as a walker, sitter, or just to come by and check up them in the afternoon or evening. Sarah had her first overnight stay with our anxious dog. She was so attentive to our instructions regarding his medication and quirks. We really appreciated her willingness to meet his specific needs, it made going away so much less stressful! He seemed like a very happy boy when we got back ??
Our dogs can be a lot to manage but Sarah was great with them and they seemed to do really well in her care. After a long stretch of not traveling, it was great to get away and not be worried about our furry family members. Thanks Sarah!
We have an elderly pup with health challenges and were very nervous to leave her for our family trip to Mexico. We hired Sarah to stay at our house and take care of her while we were away, and things went perfectly. We have a smart home, and know that Sarah spent lots of time with Ellie. She provided updates daily and was in constant communication with us. We returned to a pristine home, with a very healthy pup. We will book Sarah for our next trip! Highly reccommend.

A typical day
I love to bring dogs out to parks and let them run around and play. I also work with dogs who prefer to stay closer to home in a familiar setting in their own negihbourhood. My favourite thing is making animals happy and getting them the exercise they need!
