Hi! I'm Sarah and I love animals. I have been an active dog foster mom for almost twenty years, as well as a forever mom to a dog and two cats. I have cared for dogs with a myriad of health and medical needs (e.g., undergoing heartworm disease and treatment, trauma recovery, etc.) and of all ages, temperaments and breeds. I am also able to administer medicine to cats and providing whatever care your kitties need. When I'm not playing with my own three companions (1 dog and 2 cats), I enjoy reading, sewing, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
Reviews
Sarah has a genuine affection for animals - especially those under her care. I've seen her drop everything to feed a stray in need, guide a runaway home, or befriend an anxious dog behind a fence. Her own pets are full fledged members of the family. All four-legged friends should be so lucky.
Sarah has a natural affinity with animals. And humans! She’s easy to talk to- I give very specific instructions which she follows carefully. That, combined with her kindness and good instincts, make me feel very comfortable leaving my little ones in her care. She is communicative and sends me sweet pictures and updates which are very reassuring when I’m out of town. Can’t recommend enough!
Sarah is smart, responsible, energetic and truly loves animals. Sarah has years of experience fostering animals. She provides safe, healthy and loving care to her own dog and cats and will do the same for yours. I have complete trust in her ability to care for my pets.

I can provide as much activity, rest and affection as your pet prefers at your home. If you have an active dog, I enjoy walking and running and will ensure they get their energy needs met. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, my dog Lupita can provide canine company during our home visits if you wish.

A typical day
I love to go on long walks and/or runs in my Mid-City neighborhood. My dog enjoys playing fetch, as well as playing with a variety of her Bark Box toys. There is a great off leash area close by my home and I also have access to a very large fenced yard. I also spend a lot of time in City Park, especially when it's hot so we can enjoy a nice and shaded stroll.

Availability
I am currently a full-time graduate student. I take courses several evenings each week but otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I have a lot of free time to play, walk, and care for your fur babies!
