Pet care experience
While I don't currently have any pets of my own, I enjoy spending time with my friends' pets and have adapted the same approach when taking care of them-- giving them the time, attention and love that they need. In previous assistant positions, I walked a couple of large dogs daily. My cat, Yolanda, passed away a few years ago so I have enjoyed being a pet-aunty lately. I am a very active person and enjoy going to walks, hikes, runs, etc. so if your dog needs some exercise, we'd be a great fit! Alternatively, if your cat just loves a lot of good ear scratches or play time, look no further. :-)

Sarah did an outstanding job taking care of our English bulldog, Darla. She not only made sure she got plenty of attention, she went above and beyond, taking Darla on daily adventures to the beach and local trails. It was obvious how much Darla loved her, when it was time to say goodbye to Sarah Darla sat on the front lawn and watched her drive away. I cannot imagine a better dog and house sitter, I highly recommend her as a pet sitter, she is fantastic and our first choice for someone to watch Darla next time we are out of town.

I am unable to host pets at my home. While at a client's home, I would be utilizing it per the client's provided instructions. I have done a lot of house-sitting in the past and always maintain the highest respect for the client's home and privacy. I am trustworthy and responsible, able to maintain the home while the client is away and aim to leave the home in the same condition upon their return.

A typical day
Any activity that allows your pet to release the energy it needs -- that would be short neighbor walks, dog park visits, beach/river visits for a splash, a hike. I'm a very active person but also am mindful of the pet's energy level, breed capacity, weather, etc. to ensure that your pet is not just having fun but is safe.

I work remotely for a local nonprofit and have flexibility with my schedule. For the time that I am taking care of your pet, I would prioritize its health and well-being and ensure that my schedule satisfies its basic needs (potty breaks, meal times, medicine administering, walks, etc.)
