Pet care experience
I have worked at 4 different vet clinics since high school and studied animal science with a pre-veterinary emphasis at ISU. I have administered medications of all kinds to animals and can also trim their nails, brush their teeth and have worked in dog grooming in town as well! I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was 8 years old and have taken a dog training course at one of those shelters. If you can’t tell, my life has revolved around animals! I even have a small business where I draw custom animal portraits! I love animals of every kind and would love to care for yours!

Sarah is a “go to” person for us when it comes to our dogs. Not only does she love them well but she also helps us train them. With her background in pre-vet, we feel comfortable asking her questions and we feel like our dogs are always safe and in good hands with her. Plus, she sends me pictures of them when we are away and that is such a great touch!
Sarah was very dependable and came at the last minute. She's great, and I'll use her again!

I won’t be offering in home pet sitting because my home doesn’t allow animals in it. I will just be sitting for your pets in your own home! Animals usually prefer it that way anyways!

I would love to know what your dog likes to do and if they are ok with close cuddles or prefer their own space. I love all breeds, especially big dogs!
A typical day
We can go to the local dog park, play fetch or tug of war, go on a short run, take car rides, and go on long or short walks in local parks!

Availability
I am flexible for animal care as I work a part time job in town that has flexible hours so I can come play with, feed or walk your pup in the middle of the day! Sometimes I work early in the mornings and sometimes in late evenings but I usually have the most flexibility in the middle of the day between 10-2. I would prefer short term animal care but can also do long term care if it is more structured too!
