How great are dogs?
Pet care experience
One of the first things that anyone learns about me is my love for dogs. As we all know, as time and life goes on, different interests emerge and disappear but my love for dogs is one that has not faltered but has only grown. This love has brought me countless hours volunteering at animal shelters, fostering dogs, and a history of working at doggy day cares. I recently graduated from Graduate School for Social Work in Animal - Human Connection. Ive worked with therapy and service dogs.. basically my whole life revolves around my love for dogs! Even before I adopted Kaya (my pup), I would always find myself with a dog by side. As I said before my love and diligent care for dogs is no secret so I am always the first (and sometimes only individual) that friends, friends of friends, and family trust and ask to look after their dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, ages, and needs. That being said, I extend this invitation to you... I promise to care and love your dog as if he or she was my own because when you are on vacation, they should be too! :)

Sarah was great! She took my dog on adventures (long walks, hikes, beach), and sent lots of updates and photos of my dog having a blast. This was my first time hiring someone else to watch my dog, and she kept her healthy and happy, while giving me peace of mind while I was away! Definitely would use her service again or would recommend to a friend.
Sarah was amazing with my dog Obi!! She sent tons of pictures and kept me updated on how things were going. I could tell she really loves dogs and pet sitting which made me feel even more at ease boarding my dog with her for the first time for a pretty long trip when another sitter had to cancel last minute. She’s very knowledgeable about dog behavior and understood my dogs reactivity needs. She was also flexible and helpful with our changing trip schedule.
Sarah was such a great sitter! Super cool and friendly person who clearly has a huge heart for dogs. She sent me all the photos and my dog Rufus looked like he was right at home. I felt at ease knowing he was in good and loving hands. Would recommend and will use her again!
Sarah is wonderful! Incredibly quick to respond, so accommodating and very considerate when it comes to working with my travel schedule. She’s so thoughtful and makes it a point to anticipate what I need. Jagger loved her immediately, and she is so good with him. She made it a point to shoot me a message with at least a few pics every day. She took such good care of him and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to look after him!

My apartment is very dog safe and dog friendly. My best friends live across the street and are kind enough to let me use their fenced in yard whenever a dog wants to play fetch or run around off leash. I have experience and am trained to hang out with all temperaments and all size dogs. I feel confident your dog will be healthy, safe and happy :)

I cannot remember the last time I have met a dog that I have not liked or gotten along with. I will love your dog and your dog will love me no matter the size, temperament, color, or lifestyle!
A typical day
Being an active and outdoorsy individual I believe there is no better excuse to go on an outdoor adventure than a dog! Depending on what your dog enjoys- whether its basking in the sun (or shade) besides a creek or hiking a mountain- your pup will be happy and healthy!

Availability
I work hybrid throughout the week. I am able to create my own schedule/work from home unless I am out seeing clients. If I am gone, it would be a max 5 hours. I always take my own dog on a walk 3-4 times a day and try to spend most of my day at home with the dogs.
