Pet care experience
I've owned dogs and cats my whole life, as well as guinea pigs, ferrets, and fish. I have fostered cats and dogs for up to a year at a time. Ever since I was a kid I've volunteered cleaning cat cages at my local pet store, so I don't mind cleaning up after pets. Typically over the summer I pet sit for friends, I enjoy getting to know their dogs or relax with their cats. I love to take my dog Charley for long walks, exploring new trails with cool sticks along the way. Spending time with animals brightens my day; I'd love to help out with your pets!

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by showing them attention and socializing them. I have plenty of experience warming up to animals, as I have been tasked with socializing kittens as young as 6 weeks when I’ve fostered. I understand that dogs can get rowdy when cooped up all day, and I prioritize getting them exercised. Further, I care about keeping their environment clean. I also like to make sure they are well fed— even if it means sitting with them through their meal.

I am a college student with blocks of time during the week and the weekend to spend time with animals. Living away from home, I crave time with pets. In my hometown, I take my dog exploring the forest during the day or for a walk every night. Whether it’s unwinding while on a walk or running around in the yard with the dog, I find my day-to-day feels fulfilled when I get to spend time with pets.
