I'm a lifelong animal lover and dog/cat person! I grew up in Iowa in the country and spent my childhood surrounded by dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, and more. When I first moved to Chicago, I walked dogs professionally for a year through Cruisin' Canines and I loved it - it's the best way to get to know a new city! The best part of my day is getting to meet all of the adorable dogs in my neighborhood when I'm out and about! Additionally, I'm the caretaker (owner) of a 16-year-old cat with multiple medical issues (3 daily pills, multiple food supplements, subcutaneous fluids). I'm experienced with administering medications and am aware of the accuracy and attention to detail needed when taking care of senior/special needs pets.
