My whole life I had wanted a dog, and 3 and a half years ago my husband and I were blessed with our kind and gentle corgi Shabu :) We are so happy to give Shabu the best life, and we would love to share the same love and joy with any dog visiting our family (whether they stay for a few hours or a few weeks!).

Sarah and Brian took care of our dog, Kobe, when we were away. She messaged me with several updates and photos every couple hours. They were very careful on following all our requests. Kobe had a small accident during his stay, but they cared him very well and notified us with every detail. Overall, we were very happy with their communication and the way they took care of Kobe. Kobe was very happy with them as well. We will definitely reach out to them for our next travel!
Sarah is an amazing sitter! We fully trusted her with our dog, and she sent loads of detailed updates, pictures and videos that gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend her for all of your dog sitting needs!!

Shabu herself gets along really well with dogs (and even more so with people!). She is not territorial and loves to play with dogs, but if your dog is not in the mood to play then she would happily keep to herself and lounge around instead.

Your dog MUST be house trained. Please do not inquire if they are somewhat house trained. No pee/pooping inside the house. We keep our home very clean. Will s/he be ok with sharing a space with my spayed dog? Is s/he possessive with toys/food?
A typical day
I'll walk your dog around the neighborhood. Avoid the sunny side to not damage your pup's toe beans. Visit Hillside Park close to where I live. Let them smell everything but also ensure they're behaving on walks.

Availability
I treat visiting dogs as if they were my own! Thanks to my work-from-home flexible schedule, I'm able to walk them and play with them during the day. My husband is also home often and loves to play with take care of the dogs as well. There is a park right across the street full of grass for potty time, and I have a fenced backyard for easy outdoor access as well. I also like to learn as much as I can about your dog before they visit. Feeding schedule, dieting needs, playstyles, nap times - I try to get to know your dog before they come so that they can be the most comfortable when they're here. Also, your dog will be able to try some of the homemade organic treats I love to make! (Currently on a batch of salmon+rolled oat cookies 🙂)
