10/10 dogs recommend me as your best option for a dog walker/sitter. “Gives good belly rubs.” -My Grandma’s dog. “Woof.” -A dog I met on the street “Didn’t get annoyed when I gave her kisses.” -My teacher’s dogs I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life, and I love dogs with a passion. My friends call me a dog whisper; I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like me. In the past 18 years, I've owned and cared for multiple dogs, ranging in size from Labradors and pits to westies and Yorkies. Back home in South Florida, I currently am a loving long distance mother to two senior dogs (a lab and lab/boxer mix), an 8-year-old pit bull, and a 4-year-old westie. Since middle school, I've dog sat for neighbors and would walk my grandmother's dogs every evening. I’m currently in college and am looking to make extra cash while doing something I love. I’ll take your dogs on nice walks or jogs, and will play with your dogs and take good care of them while doing day or overnight visits. My schedule is fairly flexible. Your amazing dogs will be safe with me, as I am an extremely responsible and loving person. If your dog wants unlimited belly rubs, I'm a solid choice for a dog walker/sitter.

We have never used Rover before. We decided to try this service. Sarah has good reviews and seemed very nice. First day we were very pleased. She came by several times and spent hours, and stayed that night with our dogs. One is an 80lb, 9 month old puppy, who we crate train. Important not to be in crate for too long, which is why we chose house sitting vs. dog walking. We have Ring doorbell that notifies us whenever people enter/leave house. Second day, however, not so pleased with amount of time dog was let out. She left at 8:11am. Didn’t return till 6pm for ONLY 15 minutes. Again returned at 10:25 only an hour. Was suppose to spend night, didn’t. Then next morning, didn’t show back again till 8:25 (after I texted and called to ask what happened) was suppose to let dogs out by 6am. Overall, dogs seemed well, house kept clean. Our puppy is a handful, maybe he was too much for her. Not sure what happened. If we didn't have a crated puppy, my rating would of been higher.
Sarah not only met my expectations with Rover but exceeded them exponentially. She came to my home and watched my dog many times throughout the day and always gave me updates on how we was doing along with pictures. I highly recommend her to anyone that feels uneasy about having their dog cared for by someone else or being away from their pet for many days at a time.
Sarah was such a wonderful care giver to my senior dog. She was quick to respond and a great communicator. I had full confidence in Sarah and highly recommend her to care for pets!
Sarah was amazing. She stayed at my house and watched my two dogs along with my foster dog and her eight, yes eight! Puppies. She sent tons of pictures and was very good at keeping in contact. The house was always clean when I came home and everyone was so happy. 10/10 recommend!

I would like to know the temperament of the dog, and any tips/rules you have, as well as what commands they know. I'm very patient and calm, but I cannot walk/sit dogs who are aggressive, possessive or have separation anxiety. While I do have experience with senior dog care, I cannot sit dogs who need to be diapered. With that being said, I can provide frequent potty breaks while staying overnight. Additionally, unless otherwise agreed on, I will be using your toys and treats with the dog. For walks, I prefer to use a harness; it's more secure and safe for your dog. I would also like to meet with the dog and owner(s) beforehand, just to ensure that your best friend and I are a good match for each other!
A typical day
We can go on walks all over your neighborhood. As for activities, I can play with whatever toys you have at home and give them infinite amounts of belly rubs and pats.
