Hi! My name is Sarah, I graduated in 2019 from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Animal and Poultry Sciences. I starting pet sitting around 8 years ago and I have worked at 2 pet resorts/boarding facilities over the past 6 years. I have worked at many horse and livestock farms over the years - so I have experiences with all house pets as well as farm animals such as horses, chickens, cattle, pigs. I also have a dog of my own - George, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I have experience with special needs dogs, senior dogs, administering medication, training devices such as clickers, e-collars, and prong collars. I love and care for the babies I watch just like my own. As a dog parent myself, I know how important it is to find the right person to trust with your pet while you can’t be with them! Contact me anytime and we can set up a time for you and your pup to meet me. I am currently working Monday to Thursday 9am-4:30pm and Friday 9am-3pm I can do home visits before/after work or on weekends. I am also willing to do overnight stays in owners house and in certain situations - in home boarding in my home. I have a 1 acre backyard on a creek for the dogs to swim in if they please. I have a dog for your pup to play with and keep your fur-child active. I am stashed with lots of toys and balls for fetch - or you can bring your own! It’s best if your dog is crate-trained for in-house boarding. If you’re unable to bring a crate I do have a few extra.
