Pet care experience
*** We just adopted a new puppy on 1/27/24. He is not done with his shots yet so we will not be watching any dogs until begin of April 2024*** My name is Sarah, and I've had the joy of being a proud mom to two Yorkies for the past 15 years. Sadly, Maggie passed away in 2020, and Riley followed in 2023. They meant the world to my husband and me, and their absence is deeply felt. One of our Yorkies had epilepsy, requiring medication twice a day and constant monitoring throughout her life. This experience has given me expertise in administering medications and handling health issues. Fortunately, I work from home most days, and my husband is also at home full-time, ensuring that your pet won't be alone for long. My lifelong love for animals includes growing up with big dogs like German Shepherds and an Akita. I relish spending time outdoors, going for walks, and even have a handy dog carriage for those who prefer a ride. Our backyard is enclosed, complete with a dedicated grassy area we planted for our dogs, eliminating the need for nighttime walks. We live in a charming, safe neighborhood, and I will care for your dog as if it were my own. When I book a stay or walk, your pet will be my top priority. If your dog enjoys sharing a bed, they're welcome to stay in ours. They are allowed on the couch as well. My husband is equally passionate about dogs and will shower them with affection. I understand the stress of leaving your furry family members while traveling, and I'm committed to being a trustworthy caregiver, just as others have been for me. To ensure the highest level of care, I'll only take in one family's pet(s) at a time. **Before we proceed, I'd like to meet and greet your dog and confirm that they are up-to-date on their vaccinations. We do live in a condo complex and work from home which involves a lot of phone calls. So unfortunately if you dog is a big barker it will not work as we can have a dog barking a lot while we are working. PLEASE be honest about your dog’s potty habits. If they use potty pads let us know ahead of time. If they are really good with staying on them and not going on everything that looks like one, we can be open to watching them. We know accidents happen however there is a difference between that and a dog that regularly goes in the house. We keep a clean house and our dogs were trained to go outside**
Reviews
Sarah and her husband were both amazing. She took great care of my yorkie and gave me updates throughout her stay. I am so happy I found Sarah and will be using her again for future stays. ❤️
We couldn't have asked for a better sitter experience. Sarah and her husband Matt welcomed Rocky into their home and treated him like part of their family. We got lots of updates throughout the day, which was so appreciated and we could tell that Rocky was having the best time during his stay. Knowing he was well taken care of and happy gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away. We would 100% trust Sarah & Matt to watch Rocky again.
Sarah and her husband were amazing thanking care of my furry baby! I got daily updates and the most adorable photos of Coffee and their dog Riley. Their communication gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my vacation. I’ll definitely be reaching out again. Thanks ?
Sarah was amazing!!! This out first time leaving our dog alone for an extended period. Sarah send us daily pictures and updates, this gave us piece of mind and we actually had an amazing time in Mexico on our family vacation. I will definitely be booking with Sarah next vacation! Our yard is fenced in and locked on both sides. We have gates in-front of those gates as well, so it creates a second barrier and they can’t just run out. We have gates as well for the stairs. When I am watching a pet it’s usually my main focus and I try not to be away from the house more than I need to.

Information Sarah S. would like to know about your pet
I prefer smaller to medium sized dogs up to 50 pounds. I will not be accepting dogs that are not fixed or house trained. Using potty pads is ok as long as that what they use and not everything that look like a potty pad ie carpets and rugs. Again we live in a townhouse if your dog is a big barker it won’t be a great fit. We have neighbors with new babies and it will be a issue. Obviously dogs bark from time to time, you know if your dog is a barker so please be mindful before you book.
A typical day
I have great walking paths right in my neighborhood away from the busy street. I'm open to any suggestions or requests for what we do when your dog is in my care.
