My husband, children, and I have been boarding dogs on our home for the past couple of years. We have two dogs of our own and one foster dog. We have hosted dogs that weigh 5lbs, 125lbs, and nearly everything in between! During a typical day, the dogs get up and go outside. Then they eat their breakfast and play with the kids. After the kids go to school, the dogs and I walk and play. When the kids get home from school there are always wagging tales waiting to greet them. In the evenings, the dogs usually hang out in the kitchen while I'm cooking dinner. The dogs get really excited when my husband gets home from work! After dinner, more playtime ensues. At bedtime, we move the dog beds into our bedroom. Sometimes the dogs would rather sleep with one of the kids. My whole family enjoys hosting dogs. They really become part of our extended family
