Pet care experience
I'm a 37 year old single mom and care worker. I've had animals of all kinds most of my life, guinea pigs, dogs, birds, cats, etc. I currently have 2 cats, a Boxer/Beagle mix and 2 children (ages 18 and 14)... They are healthy and well cared for. That's important, right? Honestly, I am looking for the extra income, the interaction (I love animals), and the exercise that comes with caring for pets! I currently walk/dog sit my mother's Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix for her quite frequently, before that it was her Chow/Blue Heeler mix who has since passed away due to old age. Your pets safety and overall well being is important so I'd care for them as I would my own. I know our pets miss us when we aren't around, so having that extra care, activity and attention is what I'd provide so they aren't lonely or bored.

Hello, This is a review of our 'fur baby' sitter and walker Sarah Spears. Ms. Spears has been our only dog sitter since 2004. Our pups all love Sarah, she's a great companion, friend, and care taker to all of them. She's cared for our Chihuahua Lyla, our ChowChow Fred, and our Border Collie Auzzie. I'll need to know how your dog is on walks in the event of other people/animals in the vicinity. I'll also need to know any special instructions/preferences you may have as far as feeding, walking, or any set schedule you have your dog on. I prefer your dog be vaccinated and have flea and tick prevention.
A typical day
As long as your dog is well behaved on a leash and not aggressive, we can walk around your neighborhood, park, trails, etc as often as the dog wants. If you have a yard and the dog has any preferred toys, we'll play with those for as long as your pet is interested. Lots of petting and praise are always given.
