Pet care experience
I work full time as a licensed veterinary technician at a veterinary hospital only 2 miles from my home. I have been working in the field for 7+years and have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I love dogs and love keeping them busy (unless they prefer to relax!) and happy! I have a very well behaved 40 lb lab mix that loves to play with other dogs and would be there to help me keep your dogs happy. She (my dog) has helped me watch dogs before. I am very familiar with dog behavior and signals they give so I am always keeping their safety in mind. I do work full time but can come home on lunch breaks to let the dogs out so they would get a break during the shift. Are you on vacation in beautiful Maine and want to bring your dog along but they can't stay at your rental? They can stay with me and I will happily work with you if you would like to pick your dog up to explore Maine with you, and then they can come back with me for the night! You can rest easy while you are away when your dog is with me! I also have experience with watching many different types of animals (cats, livestock, exotics, etc) and love to do so!

Sarah was great! She was able to fit us in last minute. She updated us with photos and videos of our Harley playing with her dog. She was very accommodating and thorough in learning about Harley and her needs. We would use her again for a sitter.
Sammy had a blast staying with Sarah who took excellent care of him. He loved playing with Elsie and frequent trips to the dog park. Sarah was super accommodating when we coordinated to pick him up for a visit and its obvious how much she loves and cares for animals.
sarah is the best animal care giver ever! she's super in tune to what both cats and dogs want and how to care for them. she's spent some time with my dog and instantly bonded. sarah's the best!
Sarah was a fantastic pet sitter for my 2 dogs, both who were on daily medications. They loved her very much and I always felt comfortable being away when they were in her care. She is gentle, loving and very reliable. We were very sad when she moved away, however new furry friends will be lucky to have her in Maine!

I have no breed preferences and your dogs are allowed all over my furniture and bed! Dogs do need to be house broken (if it is a puppy that isn't 100% house trained yet, they must be crate trained.) If a dog is destructive when nobody is home, they must be able to stay in a crate when left alone. They must also get along with cats as I have one that is super friendly!
A typical day
We can go for walks around the neighborhood or if your dog likes the dog park/beach we would happily go there! I love finding places for my dog and I to walk and explore and I would love to bring your dog too.
