Pet care experience
I love animals and have grown up with them. I have over 15 years of experience working with, and being around all kinds of animals, breeds, and temperaments. My experience with dogs includes my own, pet sitting (long term & short term), working as a veterinary assistant and interning at the zoo. I have a very calm, and patient personality, this often works well for dogs - especially those that are more nervous. I am a stay at home mom to my school age children so I have a very flexible and open schedule and can take care of your dogs and/or cats (smaller animals too) even on short notice! I treat every pet like part of the family. I always keep a close eye on any dogs playing in my home. Your pup will get lots of snuggles, play and attention.

Great with my high anxiety dog!
I wasn't sure how my dog, Rosie, would react to boarding. She tends to be very nervous about new situations and places but did just fine under Sarah's care. Rosie is always eager to see Sarah when we arrive at her home.
Our sweet girl came home tired and happy. Thank you for taking good care of her. Sarah was very easy to work with and very responsive to a last minute booking.

I make sure to follow all directions left by my client, whether their pet is crated, what to look out for, what they like/dislike, feeding schedules, etc. I always keep in contact with my client if anything seems “off” or different about their furry family member.

Other dog aggression, dislikes/likes, special treat/diet requirements, if your pet requires any medications or has an ailments I should watch for. Does pet prefer lots of attention, or just a simple pet and a walk or food/water? Is your cat more skittish or outgoing, do they attempt escapes when door opens?
A typical day
Lots of pets, praise and play! We will go for nice leashed walks, backyard playtime, snuggles and treats if allowed! If your pet requires any medication, I am able to administer.

I work independently which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I can typically be available same day as my schedule allows. I am quick to respond on my availability.
